  • 4 oz Champagne

Instructions

Place a drop of angostura bitters on a sugar cube and drop into a champagne flute. Add champagne and splash of campari.

Whoever gave this name to this drink is sure to be very imaginative. Furlong is an old English term for a distance equivalent to about an eight of a mile. Though its name is a little sentimental, the drink will not put you in a bad mood. On the contrary, this drink can put you in a cheery mood. Its rum and ginger beer cocktail atop a lemon twist is sure to put anyone in a depressed state to jolly one. Serve it in a high transparent glass filled with lots of ice cubes and you are sure to put the saddest spirits into merriment.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz light rum
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 1 twist lemon peel

Instructions

Pour rum and ginger beer into a highball glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir well, and garnish with a lemon twist.
